Lost and Found

Help us, help them!

If you have a lost or found a pet, please fill out the corresponding form below. This helps us reunite pets with their families by automatically matching reports of lost and found animals, which can speed up the reunification process.

Stray Cat Admission Appointment Request

If you are looking to bring a stray cat to the shelter, please complete the Stray Cat Admission Appointment Request Form. This is the quickest and most effective way for our team to review your information and schedule an admission.

Because we are a small shelter with limited staff, all intakes—including strays—are scheduled by appointment. This ensures we have a trained team member available to properly process each intake and to evaluate medical needs, monitor for signs of illness or stress, and begin individualized care right away. At the time of intake, we conduct an initial health and behavior assessment and administer core vaccinations as appropriate, to ensure the health and safety of the incoming animal, as well as all animals in the shelter.

This approach helps us maintain safe, humane standards of care while giving every animal the best possible start during their time at the shelter.

Barron County Stray Dogs

If you’ve found a stray dog in Barron County, report the dog to your local municipality to arrange transfer to the county stray hold facility. Or contact the stray hold facility directly. This ensures that the dog’s best chance at being reunited with its owner. After the stray hold, when the dog is legally available for adoption, the stray hold facility will transfer the dog to a shelter or rescue organization.
